Auto Service Technician

Hire Up Staffing is seeking motivated and reliable Auto Service Technicians for a busy and fast-paced automotive shop in the Visalia area. We are looking for both entry-level General Service Technicians or experienced Auto Service Technicians who are passionate about the automotive industry and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tires, oil changes, preventative maintenance, and light automotive repair work while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services
- Inspect brakes, suspension, belts, hoses, batteries, and fluid levels
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and recommend repairs when needed
- Install batteries, filters, and wiper blades
- Perform TPMS services
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
- Communicate vehicle issues clearly and professionally with customers
- Support shop operations and inventory organization
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive or tire service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Ability to lift tires and heavy equipment as needed
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
