What You'll Do:
As a refinish technician in our high-volume facility, you'll complete quality paint work across diverse vehicles:
- Prepare and mask vehicles for refinish (or supervise prepper)
- Mix paint to achieve color matches to OEM standard
- Apply all paint finishes to factory standards
- Perform spot repairs, panel blends, and full resprays
- Operate paint booth equipment and maintain proper cure times
- Conduct quality checks and ensure zero defects before delivery
- Maintain clean, organized booth and equipment
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols
You're an Experienced or Master-Level Painter who:
- Has 3-5+ years of professional automotive refinish experience
- Can produce high-quality, factory-finish results consistently
- Has experience with Axalta paint systems, specifically Spies Hecker
- Is comfortable in a high-volume production environment (efficiency + quality)
- Takes pride in quality color matches and flawless finish work
- Values continuous learning and staying current with Collision Technology
Required:
- Valid Driver's License
- 3+ years professional automotive painting/refinish experience
- Proven ability to achieve factory-quality finishes
- Experience mixing and matching paint colors
- Understanding of proper surface preparation and application techniques
Preferred:
- I-CAR Refinish certifications (ProLevel 1, 2, 3)
- Prior experience spraying, paint matching and utilizing Axalta-Spies Hecker
- OEM paint training/certifications ( Tesla, BMW, GM , etc.)

- Taking the post stage of refinishing to ensure the highest quality of repair
- Performing the following tasks to the highest standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the repair process from the point of drop-off through the delivery of the completed vehicle
- Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel
- Monitoring the performance of the management team within the collision centers to ascertain whether the appropriate team is in place to ensure the successful attainment of the performance objectives
- Excluded the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties
- Ensure the integrity of the apartment homes and of the community as a whole
- Showing the highest of quality standards of detail throughout the process
- Place the pole prior to painting
- Recognize when to escalate a problem to the next level
- Select the proper colors and substances for the project
- Report to be filed with the home office and submitted to the insurance adjuster
- Develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Move vehicle to designated area for buffing
- Prep the existing top coat for adhesion for the new top coat application
- Blend the repaired area for primers
- Managing the performance of the human capital within departments
- Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Operate company vehicles to travel to job sites
- Report to the Service Supervisor
