    Northeast Family Services is seeking a Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our growing New Hampshire team!

    The Autism Specialist Professional will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior, and the provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professional will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior and skill acquisition, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professional will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, either in-person or via a telehealth modality, and the client’s family, to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

    Qualifications:

    A high school diploma or a GED
    At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
    At least 18 years of age
    Pass a criminal background check
    Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
    Availability to work after school and evening hours
    Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
    Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
    Effective written and verbal communication skills
    A compassionate approach to care

    Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.

    Tuition reimbursement program available to eligible employees
    Flexible schedule, built to meet staff needs
    Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with possibility of up to 20 hours

    Compensation:


    Up to $20 per hour, depending upon experience
