About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking candidates for an Audiology Medical Office Care Assistant for a local client! This full-time, long-term opportunity can lead to permanent hire.
Responsibilities Include:
We’re seeking an individual who is personable, naturally friendly, detail oriented, patient centric, bright, inquisitive, and an excellent communicator.
- Support audiologist with daily patient care activities and overall clinic operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient support to individuals and their families throughout the care process
- Assist with hearing aid maintenance including cleanings, functional checks, minor troubleshooting and patient instruction on device use
- Pre-program hearing devices ahead of scheduled patient fittings and appointments
- Manage hearing aid orders, repairs, earmolds, and clinic inventory to ensure timely processing and availability
- Track patient orders, maintain accurate documentation, and update records within clinic systems
- Prepare and organize exam and treatment rooms prior to daily patient visits
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and infection control standards within clinical and lab areas
- Coordinate scheduling, phone communication, document scanning, and additional administrative workflows
- Provide support to front office operations and assist with additional clerical duties as needed
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in healthcare, medical office setting.
- Audiology or hearing healthcare experience preferred
- Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadlines.
- Must interact with patients of all ages with a caring and respectful manner
- Audiology Assistant training will be required.
