Join Our Team as a Dynamic Audiologist at MultiCare Yakima!

Are you passionate about improving lives through hearing health? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Audiologist to join our busy clinic, providing exceptional care to diverse patients from birth through senior years. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in a supportive environment, making a meaningful difference every day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments, including pure tone air and bone conduction tests, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry.
  • Interpret test results accurately and collaborate with physicians to determine next steps.
  • Recommend and coordinate medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and other audiological solutions.
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations, fitting, and detailed instructions on device operation and maintenance.
  • Offer routine maintenance and troubleshoot hearing aids purchased through the clinic, ensuring optimal performance for patients.

Required Skills:
  • Active Washington state audiology license.
  • Successful completion of a master’s or doctorate degree in audiology, including clinical practicum.
  • Ability to perform and interpret various audiological tests.
  • Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in diagnostics and device fitting.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with advanced audiological equipment and hearing aid technologies.
  • BLS certification.
  • Prior clinical experience in a multi-specialty setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • AuD degree from a board-approved institution.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting serving diverse age groups.
  • Certification of Clinic Competency in Audiology (for master’s degree holders).

Other Requirements:
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Ability to travel to satellite clinics or community outreach events if needed.
