The Audiologist / Hearing Care Professional role is a full-time clinical position focused on the assessment, diagnosis, management, and treatment of hearing and related auditory conditions. The role places strong emphasis on both clinical excellence and patient experience.
Key responsibilities include hearing evaluation, hearing aid dispensing, patient counselling, and long-term hearing healthcare management. The role also plays a key part in driving patient satisfaction, adoption of hearing solutions, and long-term care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate and manage hearing loss and related auditory conditions
•Perform tympanometry, OAEs, otoscopy, pure tone and speech audiometry, bone conduction testing, sound field testing, speech-in-noise testing, paediatric assessments, and cochlear implant evaluations
•Provide patient counselling grounded in modern, research-informed hearing science, including cognition and ageing considerations
•Support early intervention approaches, including cases involving mild or hidden hearing loss
•Deliver tinnitus assessment, counselling, and management strategies
•Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids, including repairs, cleanings, and earmoulds
•Support patients with hearing aid connectivity (phones, TV devices, and accessories)
•Conduct teleaudiology consultations where appropriate
•Follow Audiological Best Practices, including Real Ear Measurement
•Provide post-fitting care, orientation, and follow-up support
•Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
•Manage patient flow including check-in and check-out processes
•Maintain and calibrate clinical equipment

Requirements

•Active or eligibility to obtain a New York State Hearing Aid Dispenser license (licensing support provided)
•Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturer fitting software

Experience & Qualifications

•23 years' experience in hearing healthcare services preferred
•Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
