We are seeking a skilled and experienced <\/span>Audio Visual Design Engineer<\/b> <\/span>to join a leading <\/span>Government and Commercial AV Integrator<\/b> <\/span>in the Reston, VA area.
<\/span><\/p>
<\/span><\/p>
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting both <\/span>pre -sales and post -sales<\/b> <\/span>phases of AV projects, working closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to design and deliver high -quality audiovisual solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Support sales and technical teams during the pre -sales process, including solution design and proposal development
<\/li> - Review client requirements and develop functional system designs that meet project needs and budgets
<\/li> - Prepare system documentation and coordinate with estimating teams for pricing
<\/li> - Collaborate with clients and project teams throughout the design and implementation phases to ensure technical accuracy
<\/li> - Provide post -sales support, including system verification and technical guidance during project execution
<\/li> - Maintain up -to -date knowledge of current and emerging AV technologies and industry best practices
<\/li> - Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and professional service
<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications<\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Minimum of <\/span>5 years of experience<\/b> <\/span>in audiovisual system design or engineering
<\/li> - Strong understanding of AV design principles, integration workflows, and industry standards
<\/li> - Proven experience in both <\/span>pre -sales<\/b> <\/span>and <\/span>post -sales<\/b> <\/span>technical support
<\/li> - Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
<\/li> - Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
<\/li> - Proficiency with standard office and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus)
<\/li> - CTS certification<\/b> <\/span>preferred
<\/li> - Two -year or higher degree in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred
