  • Dedicated Space Production: Utilize production skills to operate control booth technology (video switchers, audio boards, PTZ cameras) specifically for high-tier events in our dedicated event space.
  • Speaker & Host Management: Meet with event hosts prior to showtime to confirm technical requirements, run rehearsals, conduct mic checks, and provide a high-touch customer service experience.

Daily AV Operations & Workplace Support

  • Cross-Functional Support: AV Break Fix support. Respond to escalated IT/AV tickets. Assist with general workplace hardware support. (e.g., printer maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • Ticketing & Documentation: Manage and document support workflows in ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence; track daily activities and equipment health; and maintain event support documentation.
  • Deployments & Upgrades: Partner with AV engineers on regional deployments, equipment rollouts, and hardware refresh projects.
  • Training: Create simple documentation and user guides for end-users. Train internal teams on AV best practices and self-service capabilities.

Expectations Breakdown:

  • 60% Event Support & Execution: End-to-end technical management of corporate events, meetings, and live streams across conference rooms and our dedicated event space.
  • 40% AV Operations & Workplace Support: Daily conference room health sweeps, hardware break/fix, printer support, and technology deployment projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and complete initiatives under pressure in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in corporate event support and audio-visual production, including executive-level event support.
  • Event Tech Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of corporate AV systems, Zoom Rooms setups, and standard presentation software (Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Video Production Competency: Practical experience operating control booth technology, specifically video switchers (e.g., Ross Carbonite, Atem) and multi-camera setups for live events.
  • Signal Flow & Troubleshooting: Solid understanding of audio and video signal flow (Dante, SDI, HDMI) with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly during live events.
  • Hardware Familiarity: Hands-on experience with equipment from Neat, QSC/Q-Sys, Dante Devices, AVoIP solutions, Shure, and Yamaha.
  • Communication: Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical services to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site, lift up to 50 lbs. independently (100 lbs. with assistance), and manage the physical demands of event setups.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule (including rare nights and weekends as required by event demands) and travel occasionally if needed.
