xecutive Collaboration and Digital Workspace Engineer
Position Summary The candidate selected for this position will serve as the lead for Executive collaboration and their digital workspace technology, owning the design, build, and operational excellence of Audio/Video (A/V), meeting room, and executive productivity services at NCR Voyix. This role partners with IT, Security, Facilities, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable collaboration experiences across conference rooms, event spaces, and executive offices.
This role designs and supports modern, networked A/V and unified communications solutions—standardizing room profiles, implementing Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise conferencing platforms, and integrating control systems, DSP, cameras, and displays into a consistent, supportable service. The engineer establishes monitoring, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting practices to ensure high availability and an excellent user experience.
In addition, this role owns the executive digital workspace experience (devices, identity, conferencing, mobility, and collaboration) with a proactive, hightouch service model. The engineer drives root-cause problem management, security-aligned configurations, and continuous improvements that reduce executive-impacting incidents and increase productivity.
Key Responsibilities
+ Architect, standardize, and continuously improve meeting room and event space A/V designs (cameras, DSP, microphones, speakers, displays, switchers, and room control) with a focus on reliability, supportability, and security.
+ Provide Tier 2/3 engineering support for executive meetings and high-visibility events, leading rapid triage, incident communications, and post-incident root cause analysis.
+ Own technology delivery for high-sensitivity communications (boardroom meetings, all-hands, earnings/investor calls): secure setup, controlled access/recording as required, rehearsal support, and production-ready validation.
+ Coordinate with Executive Admins, Communications, Legal, and Security to align meeting technology with confidentiality and compliance needs, including redundancy/failover plans, escalation paths, and runbooks for critical sessions.
+ Establish standards for sensitive meeting spaces (boardroom profiles, audio privacy considerations, approved platforms, and device baselines) and lead post-event technical reviews to drive measurable reliability improvements.
+ Engineer and operate Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and enterprise conferencing (Teams/Zoom/Webex): configuration, firmware/OS lifecycle, account provisioning, device compliance, and integration with room peripherals and control systems.
+ Design and run engineered event workflows (audio mixing, video switching, recording/streaming, lighting control), documenting runbooks and establishing repeatable operating standards for executive and enterprise events.
+ Lead A/V and collaboration technology workstreams for office buildouts and real estate projects: requirements, solution design, implementation oversight, acceptance testing, and transition to operations.
+ Provide executive endpoint engineering and support (Windows/macOS, conferencing peripherals, printing, and connectivity), partnering with Network and Unified Communications teams for LAN/WAN, telephony, and QoS-related issues.
+ Own escalations for collaboration and executive workspace issues, resolving incidents within SLAs, driving problem management, and coordinating with global teams and vendors through change and release processes.
+ Manage executive device lifecycle (standards, build/imaging, break-fix, repairs/replacements, and asset tracking), including hardware diagnostics and component replacement as required.
+ Contribute to collaboration technology roadmap and program execution, defining standards, reference architectures, operational metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Own conference room service operations: preventive maintenance, capacity planning, telemetry/monitoring, firmware updates, configuration management, and timely remediation of recurring issues.
+ Support business continuity planning for executive communications and collaboration services, including redundancy approaches, documented runbooks, and failover procedures for critical rooms and events.
+ Administer and support Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) in alignment with identity, device management, and security standards (Entra ID/Intune where applicable).
+ Deliver executive enablement and targeted training for Microsoft 365 and conferencing capabilities, driving adoption of standard workflows and reducing support burden through self-service guidance.
+ Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions with appropriate governance, auditability, and least-privilege access practices.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex M365 and conferencing issues using logs/telemetry, documented runbooks, and automation (e.g., PowerShell) to improve speed and consistency of remediation.
+ Maintain accurate operational records (tickets, changes, asset data, and project time tracking) in accordance with team processes.
+ Work in office Mon-Fri with flexibility to support out-of-office hours as required.
Additional responsibilities include leading technology upgrades, new implementations, and refresh programs for collaboration rooms and executive workspaces, as well as supporting corporate real estate-driven expansions through consistent engineering standards.

+ Familiarity with A/V control platforms (Crestron/AMX/Extron) including configuration, troubleshooting, and coordination with integrators for code changes.
+ Able to operate in high-stakes, executive-facing environments with disciplined incident response, clear communications, and post-event continuous improvement.
+ Experience delivering enterprise workplace technology in corporate, educational, or production environments, including deployments at scale.
+ Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, multicast) and understanding of networked A/V / AV-over-IP concepts.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting, with awareness of identity and access concepts (Entra ID) and device management basics.
+ Proficient with Windows and endpoint troubleshooting; able to leverage scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline repetitive tasks.
+ Highly available for executive support and critical events, including after-hours maintenance windows and on-call/escalation coverage as required.
+ Capable of owning end-to-end technical delivery for executive events (requirements, rehearsal, production readiness, and post-event review).
+ Able to support and standardize solutions across multiple sites, balancing local needs with global engineering standards.
+ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, quick learner, innovative, and organized.
+ Adaptable to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Open to new or alternative approaches.
