Position OverviewAn established New York-based elder law and estate planning practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Attorney to support continued growth. This opportunity is available in multiple New York markets, including Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester/Rockland, and the Mid-Hudson Valley region. The role is designed for an attorney who enjoys building long-term client relationships and helping individuals and families navigate important planning decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct consultations with clients and familiesDevelop and implement estate planning strategiesDraft trusts and related planning documentsAdvise clients regarding asset protection, disability planning, and probate avoidanceHandle estate administration and probate mattersAssist clients with Medicaid-related planningMaintain a client-centered, educational approachTravel between office locations when neededSupport team initiatives and collaborate across departmentsCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will:Hold a J.D. from an accredited law schoolBe actively licensed and in good standing in New YorkHave at least 3 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, estate administration, probate, Medicaid planning, or trust planningDemonstrate strong communication and client-service skillsBe flexible, humble, collaborative, and team-orientedEnjoy working closely with older adults and familiesWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, in-office position with required travel between office locations. The practice operates without billable hour requirements and emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.
