Corporate Associate Attorney
Location: Wheaton, Illinois
Mission Recruiting is representing a well-respected law firm that is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 8+ years of experience to join a sophisticated corporate practice. This role involves handling complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, entity formation, and commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on corporate and transactional matters
- Handle M&A, divestitures, and restructurings
- Counsel on debt and equity offerings
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Guide entity formation and governance
- Lead transactions and manage deal teams
- Maintain client relationships
- Participate in business development initiatives
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of corporate law experience
- Strong transactional and M&A background
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex matters independently
- Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
Compensation:
- Base salary of $150,000–$170,000+ DOE with performance-based bonus tied to collections
