· Experience handling complex litigation matters.
· Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
· Manage and lead a staff counsel operation for a major property and casualty (P&C) insurance organization.
· Oversee daily operations of an internal legal team supporting insurance defense matters.
· Lead, mentor, and manage attorney staff to achieve performance and business objectives.
· Develop and implement legal strategies for insurance defense litigation.
· Review and manage complex P&C insurance defense cases.
· Provide legal guidance and support to claims, underwriting, and business teams.
· Monitor litigation activity, case outcomes, and legal performance metrics.
