Back to search results ATM Technical Support Specialist GENERAL SUMMARY: PAI (A Brinks Company) is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to provide technical support and monitoring for ATMs in an inbound Help Desk. The position includes troubleshooting ATM settings, communication errors, ordering parts, monitoring ATMs and other tasks as assigned. Successful candidates are cheerful, professional, reliable, and enjoy troubleshooting issues. Candidates must have basic computer knowledge (understand PC components and their basic function) and have an interest in technology. Classroom and hands on training provided. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Troubleshoot, program, and monitor ATMs via phone and internet in a call center (office) environment. Provide professional support to customers and technicians. Assist with various tasks as assigned. Preform related duties as business needs present themselves, within your scope of practice KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The competencies required for success in the ATM Technical Support Specialist role include: Basic computer knowledge (components and connections) Troubleshooting ability and interest (ability to ask probing questions to discover the cause of an issue) Customer Focused Ability to proactively monitor ATMs for errors with minimal supervision Remain professional at all times Ability to multi-task and navigate computer applications quickly (basic office skills) Learn quickly when facing new problems and actively seek needed information from all available resources Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment Ability to take ownership of issues through completion as needed Work well with others to solve customer issues MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Strong technical, problem solving, and communication skills COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS: Microsoft office suite; specifically Outlook and Excel Ability to learn other software programs quickly Able to use dual computer monitors efficiently Work in multiple systems to achieve a task WORKING CONDITIONS: This work is performed in a business office setting. The working environment in the call center can be distracting due to noise. This position requires continuous looking at a computer screen and sitting while handling calls. Daily contact with management and with co-workers. Work can be stressful and requires a calm, patient demeanor. Lifting of 10 pounds or less, which can be accommodated. SUPERVISORY / MANAGEMENT DUTIES: The employee is not responsible for supervising other positions. A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required. Position requires successfully passing a drug test prior to hire and upon any accident / incident or discharge of firearm while on duty.
