Position Details:
Collaborate closely with medical professionals to offer comprehensive injury management, including prevention and recovery. Your role is crucial in imparting knowledge to coaches, families, and athletes while delivering practical assistance in schools, clinics, and sports arenas.

Primary Duties:
- Utilize preventative techniques and protective devices for sports-related concerns
- Facilitate athlete rehabilitation through structured programs
- Collaborate with medical staff and communicate with key stakeholders
- Provide on-site support at events and during emergencies
- Educate on injury prevention measures
- Accurately document care strategies and athlete progress
- Adapt to diverse working conditions depending on needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or similar (mandatory), Master’s is a plus
- Certification: New York Athletic Trainer Certification, NATABOC, BLS (to be completed during orientation)
- Experience: Open to recent graduates; 1–2 years' experience in school or orthopedic settings preferred
- Skills: Strong leadership, exceptional communication, attention to confidentiality, familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records is advantageous
