Position Summary Assist with diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of pediatric and adolescent sports injuries.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Promotes Pediatric Sports Medicine practice. • Develops relationships with high school athletic trainers in St. Louis region, including participation in high school sporting coverage. • Assists in coordinating outreach and education programs on pediatric and adolescent sports injuries including prevention programs. • Develops teaching materials to support patients and their families with sports injuries. • Assists Pediatric Sports Physician in the Operating Room. • Assists in all aspects of the clinical care of pediatric and adolescent athletes - including diagnosis, preoperative education, surgery, postoperative follow-up and rehabilitation.

Required Qualifications • Athletic Trainers Certification (ATC) from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date. • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of two years of experience (clinical experience encouraged). • Eligible for Missouri State Registration.

Preferred Qualifications (Education) Masters degree

Salary Range $52,600.00 - $78,900.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
