Position Summary:
Assists school coaching staff with exercise programs and participates in coverage of all athletic events and practice sessions within local Schools' athletic programs. This role would assist in the day-to-day training and practice programs as requested by the school.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree
1+ years of experience
BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation
Current State EMT License for the State of Kentucky.
Current State CMA or LPN License for the State of Kentucky
Essential Functions
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Adhere to requirements and responsibilities as outlined by the school's athletics department
Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information concerning the financial,
personal, medical, and employment status of Students/patients/families
Serves as liaison between Supervising AT and the schools' coaches and administrators
Provide immediate first aid of athletic injuries
Prepare athletes for practice or competition including taping, banding, wrapping, and bracing
Communication with other hospital personnel regarding athletes' conditions as needed
Regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
