Job Summary

DEFINITION Under supervision of an Assistant Principal or Administrative Designee, provide preventive and emergency care for all athletic and P.E. injuries and maintain the athletic equipment and lockers.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years experience at a high school or college athletic training program or related sports medicine field; emergency medical technician with athletic training experience. Licenses and other Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR certificate Desired Qualification: Completion of eligibility requirements for certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer; or graduation from college or university with completion of an athletic training education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. Certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (or successor agency) COPIES OF REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATION MUST BE ATTACHED OR YOU WILL BE SCREENED OUT.
