Job Summary
Under the direction of the MOTFW Director or designee. An operational employee who is responsible for the day-to-day preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of school district athletic fields, grounds, and facilities for both Middle and High School Athletics and perform other duties as requested or required. For more detailed information on the position, see the attached job description. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: >Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade. >Valid California Driver's License. Desirable: •School-related experience. • Five (5) years experience in custodial and maintenance work including two (2) years of supervising employees. • Athletic coaching experience This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on range 19. PLEASE NOTE THE 2025-26 & 2026-27 SALARY SCHEDULE IS PENDING - SALARY IS CURRENTLY BASED ON THE 2024-25 SALARY SCHEDULE.

This position serves in our Maintenance Department as out Athletics programs Grounds & Facitlity Worker. This position is Full time, 8 hours a day for 261 days a year (12-months). The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in Mariposa County and serves grades K-12. With approximately 1,700 students, the area consists of several necessary small schools, K-8 schools, and one comprehensive high school. Mariposa County has several rural communities that surround Yosemite National Park and are centrally located in California to provide a day''s drive to old-growth forests, deserts, coastal communities, and cities. The area is suited for those interested in outdoor activities and rural community life.
