The Augusta Area School District is seeking a full-time Athletic Director / Dean of Students to provide leadership for the District's athletic department, extracurricular activities, and student support systems.
This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising middle and high school athletics, leading extracurricular opportunities, and assisting the building principal with student behavior, attendance, supervision, and school culture. The selected candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge of best practices, flexibility, collaboration, organization, communication, and a willingness for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will be personable, student-centered, highly organized, and able to lead, teach, and support others in a high-quality and effective manner. This position requires regular collaboration with students, families, coaches, teachers, support staff, district administration, community members, and outside organizations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license or ability to obtain appropriate licensure preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain prior to beginning the position.
- Experience in athletics, coaching, student activities, aquatics, student supervision, or school leadership preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, staff, coaches, administrators, and community members.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student, family, and personnel information appropriately.
- Ability to interpret and follow district policies, procedures, regulations, and operational guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preference may be given to candidates with leadership experience, coaching experience, aquatics experience, or a master's degree in educational leadership.
