    Associate Veterinarian 

    Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, two-doctor general practice located in downtown Pleasanton, CA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality veterinary medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care, client satisfaction, and work-life balance. The practice provides comprehensive services, including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, and diagnostic treatments for dogs and cats. With a highly experienced support team and strong ties to the local community, including police canine units, you will have the resources and assistance needed to deliver exceptional care. This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, after-hours responsibilities, or on-call shifts, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced and fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, including routine and preventive services
    Diagnose and treat medical conditions using established veterinary practices
    Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment plans, and overall animal health
    Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient care
    Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations

    Ideal Candidate
    Licensed (or eligible for licensure) DVM/VMD in California
    Strong commitment to practicing high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine
    Excellent communication and client relationship skills
    Team-oriented professional with a collaborative mindset
    Interest in building long-term client relationships and contributing to practice growth
