Client is seeking an Associate Project / Program Manager (APjM) to support the execution of technical programs that power our content, product, and platform experiences. This role partners closely with engineering, product, data science, and cross-functional teams to coordinate delivery, improve operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

This is an early-career program management role focused on strong execution, technical fluency, and building foundational program leadership skills.

Responsibilities
Program Execution and Delivery
Support end-to-end execution of programs, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are tracked and met
Maintain project plans, sprint boards, and documentation to ensure visibility and accuracy
Monitor dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating issues as needed

Project Coordination
Partner with teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans
Support Agile processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Track feature development, bug triage, and release readiness

Operational Excellence
Maintain program documentation, workflows, and reporting systems
Ensure hygiene across tools (e.g., Jira, Airtable, dashboards) and improve consistency of tracking
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lightweight automation

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and business teams
Capture and communicate meeting notes, action items, and decisions
Help align priorities across teams to ensure efficient program execution

Reporting and Communication
Provide clear, concise status updates on program health, risks, and progress
Support preparation of team updates, dashboards, and executive summaries
Contribute to building scalable reporting frameworks and program visibility

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
1 3 years of experience in program management, project management, or technical operations
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with technical systems, software development lifecycle, or data workflows
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical Mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
Proactive problem-solver with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
