Associate Systems Engineer

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to design, integrate/test and conduct data analysis to assess system performance of the Combat System.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in STEM related field and 0-2 years of related experienceThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required

This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)

Understanding of an Agile development environment

Experience performing system and data analysisFunctional knowledge of Combat SystemsDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, or modeling and simulationProficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalentLarge Scale Combat Systems design and development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulationDemonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skillsPrior experience in the defense industry or related fieldSystems Engineering background
