Job OverviewWe are seeking an Associate Social Strategy & Performance Director to lead the systems, strategy and performance engine behind our social work. Seated in Colle McVoy's Earned and Influence practice, this role is responsible for defining how brands show up across platforms and ensuring social execution is planned, delivered and measured effectively.This role owns channel strategy, editorial planning, publishing operations, community management, social listening and reporting frameworks across a group of accounts. The ideal candidate brings deep platform expertise, strong analytical thinking and the ability to build structured, scalable social systems across multiple brands.ResponsibilitiesSocial & Channel StrategyLead development of social and channel strategies and playbooks that define the role of each platform within the broader marketing ecosystem on behalf of three to four brandsTranslate brand and business objectives into clear social approaches, content frameworks and engagement strategiesPartner with brand strategy and content leads to shape overall social direction and prioritiesMaintain a strong point of view on how platforms are evolving and ensure brands are leveraging new features, formats and capabilitiesEditorial Planning & ProgrammingLead development of editorial calendars and content programming across platformsEnsure the right balance of campaign, evergreen and reactive contentBring structure and consistency to how social content is planned and deliveredPublishing & Platform OperationsOversee publishing workflows and platform execution across accountsEnsure content is properly formatted, scheduled and delivered across channelsMaintain platform hygiene and ensure best practices are followedCommunity Management & Engagement LeadershipOversee community management across brands, ensuring consistent voice, responsiveness and engagement qualityEstablish and manage escalation protocols for customer service or sensitive issuesIdentify opportunities to strengthen engagement and community presenceSocial Listening & InsightsOversee social listening to monitor brand mentions, sentiment and cultural conversationsSurface insights, risks and opportunities to inform content and strategyEnsure listening is actively informing decision-making across teamsReporting & PerformanceLead development of reporting frameworks across weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reportingOversee the creation, maintenance and optimization of performance dashboardsEnsure performance data is captured, organized and accessible across teamsTranslate data into clear insights, recommendations and optimizationsEnsure performance learnings are shared and applied across teamsThought Leadership & POVsDevelop and communicate proactive and reactive POVs to clients on platform changes, trends and performance opportunitiesTranslate emerging platform shifts and cultural moments into actionable recommendations for brandsHelp elevate the agency's voice and credibility in social through strong, informed perspectivesTeam Leadership & ManagementManage and mentor social media managers, ensuring strong execution across channelsProvide direction, feedback and support to improve day-to-day operations and outputEstablish clear processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistencyDrive standardization of best practices, tools and platform approaches across the agencyQualificationsComfort working in fast-paced, evolving environmentsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)6–10+ years of experience in social, content or creative roles, preferably within an agency environmentExperience leading social content development across multiple brands or campaignsExperience managing or mentoring creative or creator teamsAt the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
