Position Purpose
Associate Project Managers (APM) serve a critical role to support multiple project teams within Project Management. This job is documentation heavy with a focus on creating Bidding and Proposal Documents. APM’s will work closely with Project Managers, Project Designers, and Estimators and are expected to be heavily involved in the organization of project information and paperwork to support multiple Project Managers at a given time. This position is intended to not only serve as a critical role to support the project team within Project Management, but also to be a training ground for future growth opportunities within Project Management/the organization.
Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities
APMs are generally expected to spend approximately 85% of their time performing as an Associate Project Manager for active projects or bidding, 10% of their time contributing to organizational and departmental improvements, and 5% towards continuing education. Within that, to support and participate in Project delivery, APMs may travel approximately 30% of their time.
