Posting Summary The Department of Restorative Dentistry is searching for a .20 FTE PART-TIME prosthodontist faculty member. The primary functions of this position include: • Pre-doctoral education in fixed removable implant prosthodontics • Occlusion • Biomaterials • Operative dentistry Participation in pre-clinical and post-graduate teaching, possible participation in the Departmental Master of Dental Science degree program, scholarly activity, research, service, teaching pre-clinical courses, possibly serving as course director for at least one pre-clinical or post-graduate course, serving as an advisor for students, lecturing in departmental courses as directed, participation on committees as assigned, other assignments as directed by the Chair.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities Requirements for this position include a certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited program. Background in maxillofacial prosthodontics and advanced digital dentistry is REQUIRED. Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical requirements for this position include regularly walking, reaching with hands and arms, occasionally stooping, bending, and lifting.
