Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect with basic CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) experience to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of Salesforce solutions that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, system integrations, security models, and automation, along with a foundational understanding of Salesforce CPQ to support pricing and quoting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Salesforce Solution Architecture & Design Define Salesforce architecture strategy, best practices, and governance standards. Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and third-party applications (ERP, finance, marketing automation, etc.). Develop data models, security structures, and automation frameworks within Salesforce. Support CPQ-related configurations and enhancements as needed.

  2. Salesforce Development & Customization Oversee the design, development, and deployment of custom Salesforce applications. Lead customization efforts using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows. Implement and optimize Salesforce automation, including workflow rules, process builders, and approval processes. Support basic CPQ configurations, such as pricing rules, product catalogs, and quote templates.

  3. Integration & Data Management Lead Salesforce integration with external systems (ERP, billing, CRM, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, and middleware tools. Oversee data migration strategies, ensuring data quality and integrity across platforms. Manage Salesforce security, user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

  4. CPQ Support & Enhancements Assist with basic Salesforce CPQ configurations, including pricing structures, approval workflows, and quote templates. Work with sales and finance teams to ensure CPQ functionalities align with business needs. Troubleshoot CPQ-related issues and recommend process improvements.

  5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, developers, and admins to translate business needs into technical solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators. Engage with executive leadership to align Salesforce capabilities with strategic goals.

  6. Implementation, Support & Continuous Improvement Oversee Salesforce releases, system upgrades, and new feature rollouts. Ensure system stability, security, and performance by proactively monitoring Salesforce environments. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation. Continuously evaluate and improve Salesforce processes and user adoption.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture, 12 years+ overall experience. 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce CPQ (basic understanding of product catalogs, pricing rules, and quote templates). Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with Salesforce integrations (Mulesoft, APIs, middleware, or ETL tools). Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, or CPQ Specialist). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Billing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
