CarterWill Search is seeking an Associate Personal Injury Attorney in Orange Park, FL for a Direct Hire opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney ready to break into personal injury law or grow early experience into a long-term litigation career. You’ll gain hands-on exposure, real case responsibility, and direct mentorship in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in handling personal injury cases in pre-suit and early litigation stages.
  • Draft demand packages, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and strategy.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
  • Participate in case evaluations, settlement negotiations, and mediations.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and meetings as experience develops.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure all litigation deadlines are met.
Requirements/Education:
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • 0–3 years of experience in personal injury, insurance defense, or related litigation.
  • Strong interest in building a career in personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent legal writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate effectively within a legal team.
  • Professional, ethical, and client-focused mindset.
  • Pre-suit personal injury experience preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to discovery, motion practice, or civil litigation is a plus.
