Schedule: 9/80 (9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off). Education: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years related experience; graduate degree or equivalent with 0-2 years; or 6+ years experience in lieu of degree. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Siemens/Mentor PADS Designer and Layout software, plus AutoCAD mechanical software. Create and maintain schematic symbols for ECAD libraries using component vendor data sheets. Create and maintain copper pad footprints, solder mask, and solder paste patterns for ECAD libraries, referencing vendor data sheets, IPC standards, and internal design guidelines. Develop ECAD footprints for PCB designers. Ensure all fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly requirements are met. Review drawings and data sheets for dimensional requirements. Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in Siemens/Mentor PADS Designer and Layout software. Proficiency in AutoCAD mechanical software. Knowledge of ECAD library management. Familiarity with SMT and through-hole electronic components and packages for PCB assemblies. Understanding of mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing. Required Functional Skills: Ability to reference component vendor data sheets, IPC standards, and design guidelines. Skill in reviewing drawings for dimensional accuracy. Working knowledge of PLM tools (e.g., Agile, Teamcenter).
