The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care, including:

  • Patient registration
  • Insurance verification
  • Collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments
  • Scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments
  • Answering phones

### Schedule & Location

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Address: 1580 West Antelope Drive, Layton, UT 84041

### Primary Responsibilities

  • Taking incoming calls from call center and patients.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for activities and programs.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care provider.
  • Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, take messages, and create and manage tasks as needed.
  • Manage medical records and maintain files.
  • Scan and prepare for schedule.
  • Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed; process requests for medical records release and maintain appropriate logs, etc.
  • Work with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Resolve service issues and complaints and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessary.
  • Close out EMR messages.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

### Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
  • 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.

### Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of work experience with medical office processes.
  • 1 year of related work experience including data entry.
  • Prior experience with EMR computer applications.
  • Prior experience with medical software.
  • Knowledge of working through medical portal systems.
  • Knowledge of medications and medical terminology.

### Compensation Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

  • Hourly Pay Range: $16.15 to $28.80 per hour (based on full-time employment).
  • We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
