Our Patent Practice primarily represents companies in the life sciences sector with a client base that spans molecular diagnostics, genomics, immunology, biotech tools, interventional medicine (cardiology and neurology), optics, and other diverse areas focused on human healthspan. The ideal candidate will have a degree in the biological sciences and experience in the business of biotechnology (either the legal or business development function). Successful candidates will have admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a solid understanding of the laws and regulations involving the patent process. Most importantly, we are looking for lawyers who understand that patents are business documents and who are willing to learn how to develop patent strategies that promote the business objectives of our clients.
