Job Title: Associate MDR/Vigilance Specialist

Job Description

The role involves supporting the intake, evaluation, processing, and communication of complaints and adverse events in accordance with procedures and government regulations. The specialist will serve as the primary contact for product defect complaints, ensuring complete and accurate records and reporting of Medical Device Reports or adverse events as required by regulatory agencies. The position requires addressing and expediting product complaints while ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing technical expertise to optimize complaint processing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support intake, evaluation, processing, and communication of complaints and adverse events.
  • Provide administrative expertise in receipt processing and reporting of product defect complaints.
  • Serve as the primary contact for product defect complaints, ensuring complete and accurate records and reporting.
  • Address and expedite product complaints according to company policy and government regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise to optimize complaint processing systems.
  • Maintain and monitor systems to ensure all product complaint investigations are appropriately investigated and concluded.
  • Support projects to develop or enhance programs and processes to meet regulatory reporting requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in science, healthcare, or engineering.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and type the English language proficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to fluctuate between multiple activities/tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Self-starter and self-motivating.
  • Detail-oriented and skilled at technical writing.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience working in databases.
  • Understanding of good documentation practices (GDP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and quality systems in a regulated environment.

Work Environment

The position involves working primarily at a computer/desk setting. It requires proficiency in the English language and the ability to type proficiently. The role primarily involves communication with internal contacts, with less complex interactions externally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mounds View, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
