As the Manager/Associate Manager, Global Commercial Services and Marketing Procurement, you will be a key architect in executing our global strategy for sourcing the capabilities that shape how we listen to and engage with consumers worldwide. You will provide best-in-class sourcing decisions across multiple commercial services spend categories, ensuring our investments deliver powerful and sustainable competitive advantage.You will act as a centralizing force for strategic cohesion across diverse business segments, including Oral Care, Personal Care, Skin Care, Home Care, and Pet Nutrition. By implementing integrated sourcing strategies, you will leverage our global scale to maximize value while respecting critical local cultural nuances.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Sourcing & Category Management


+ Execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for a multi-million-dollar spend portfolio, including, but not limited to Insights and Analytics, Character Licensing, Communication Agencies, and other strategic business services.

+ Personally lead and execute negotiations with global data providers, licensing partners, and specialized marketing agencies.

+ Move beyond price-based discussions to secure complex agreements that drive innovation, risk management, transparency, and long-term strategic value.

+ Establish and govern a rigorous Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program using KPIs and performance scorecards to ensure continuous improvement from strategic partners.


Innovation & Technology Integration


+ Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating emerging technologies and disruptive platforms within the insights space.

+ Support the strategic roadmap for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics into the spend managed lifecycle, including predictive spend analysis and automated contract evaluation.

+ Champion the adoption of key procurement tools to ensure the team is data-driven and digitally fluent.


Stakeholder Partnership & Influence


+ Cultivate trust-based relationships with senior leaders in the different Global Commercial, Legal and Finance organizations.

+ Act as a strategic advisor to internal business partners, providing expert counsel on market dynamics and innovative commercial models.

+ Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement high-impact cost-saving and value-creation initiatives.


Deliver Financials


+ Assume ownership for delivering annual efficiency and effectiveness targets, including cost savings and cost exposure mitigation.

+ Utilize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to ensure sourcing decisions are grounded in rigorous data.

+ Provide accurate reporting on procurement performance and market intelligence to leadership.


Required Qualifications:


+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.

+ 6+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience with a focus on business services or indirect procurement.

+ Specific experience in global insights, consumer market research, or licensing categories within a CPG or fast-paced industry.

+ Proven track record of leading complex negotiations with global suppliers, incorporating value-based discussions and creative problem-solving.

+ Experience leveraging procurement technologies and understanding how to apply AI and predictive analytics to drive execution.

+ Strong financial literacy with the ability to analyze complex agency compensation models and negotiate intricate commercial contracts.


Preferred Qualifications:


+ MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPSM)

+ Lead with empathy and integrity, acting as a supportive mentor to your partners.

+ Seek out diverse viewpoints and champion supplier inclusion.

+ Challenge the status quo and propose new operating models to maximize efficiency.


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD


Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.


Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
