Summary

Purpose of Role:

Support data use through the facilitation of quality control, analysis, and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in:

  • Data collection and analysis, report preparation, project coordination, budget tracking, or other analytical support functions
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

A valid Arizona Drivers License with an acceptable driving record upon hire.

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

  • Monitor multiple databases and data flow across multiple platforms and networks; provide application support; verify accuracy of data; and design and maintain reports.
  • Conduct research, summarize findings and develop data-driven recommendations; prepare a variety of reports and correspondence related to projects, studies and program data; map business processes and provide policy analysis; and review and revise policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Manage projects including attending project-related meetings and monitoring schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate and train staff and contractors on navigating databases to conduct research, perform data queries and produce reports.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control verification of monthly service data and contractor invoicing and facilitate payment approval.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Knowledge of:

  • Basic data quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Introductory report design and data visualization methodologies
  • Data flow across platforms and networks
  • Research summarization and policy analysis theories
  • Project coordination and schedule monitoring procedures
  • Fundamental database navigation and query design practices
  • Contractor invoice verification and payment approval processes
  • Using a computer and related software
