Job TitleMergers and Acquisitions AssociateJob DescriptionAdvise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions. Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to M&A deals. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes. Conduct due diligence and identify potential legal risks in transactions. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices impacting M&A activities. Provide counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to transactions. Support senior attorneys in complex legal matters and strategic decision-making.The Successful ApplicantA successful candidate should have: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility to practice law in New York. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
