Job Title: Associate - Inventory I
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Perform fulfillment operations including inventory counting, receiving, and packing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material, supporting production needs.
  • Operate a forklift safely and effectively to support warehouse activities.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required to move heavy parts and materials within the facility.
  • Differentiate responsibilities between level one and level two roles, including experience and task complexity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and escalating roadblocks, assisting in root cause analysis, and providing problem-solving solutions.
  • Operate heavy equipment with a fundamental understanding of mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
  • Receive shipments by unloading carrier deliveries and inspecting packages for compliance with SOPs.
  • Conduct quality control checks on incoming shipments, ensuring parts meet standards.
  • Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools.
  • Input data into inventory systems, navigating modules and reading information to complete tasks.
  • Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store items during workflow stages.
  • Sort and stage packages, ensuring secure handling to prevent loss.
  • Label and mark parts with identifiers according to SOPs for workflow analysis.
  • Assign storage locations and perform audits to ensure proper storage and inventory accuracy.
