Position Summary
 
RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking an Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support field operations across multiple regions. This role partners closely with field leadership and employees to deliver effective, practical HR solutions that align with business objectives, strengthen employee engagement, and support retention.
 
The Associate HRBP will play a key role in executing core HR functions while developing the capability to operate as a strategic partner. This includes partnering with field operations on staffing strategy, supporting recruiting efforts, and helping ensure workforce plans align with business demand. This position offers the opportunity to gain meaningful experience in employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and talent acquisition within a dynamic, field-driven environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with field managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Collaborate with field operations and recruiting teams to support staffing strategies, hiring plans, and workforce alignment to meet business needs.
  • Provide insight into hiring trends, candidate flow, and workforce gaps to support operational decision-making.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Coach managers on performance expectations, documentation standards, and corrective action processes.
  • Assist in the execution of HR programs and initiatives that support engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities and support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, promotions, and transfers.
  • Collaborate with senior HR team members on workforce planning, organizational initiatives, and succession planning efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with field teams, serving as a reliable and approachable HR resource.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a field-based or multi-location environment
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and/or recruiting or staffing functions.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Travel Requirements
 
This position supports multiple locations and requires travel (approximately 40–60%) to effectively partner with field leadership.
