A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic general liability team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of litigation experience, insurance defense experience, strong advocacy skills, and a desire to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities:

1.Handle all phases of discovery and motion practice2.Conduct and defend depositions3.Draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings4.Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials5.Represent clients in mediations and settlement discussions

Qualifications:

1.Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school2.Admission to the New York State Bar 3.Admission to the EDNY and/or SDNY (or ability to be admitted within 90 days of hire)4.Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills5.Strong organizational and communication abilities6.Self-motivated and able to manage multiple matters efficiently
