General Purpose
Looking to build your accounting career in a hands on, operations focused environment? In this role, you'll take ownership of construction invoice processing and partner with Operations Managers on tool purchase requests. You'll apply GAAP principles in real world scenarios, ensure invoice accuracy through strong controls, and work directly with field teams and vendors making a meaningful impact on day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities
50-70%: Invoice Processing
Provide correct accounting to Accounts Payable through 10-key entry into SAP database.
Make timely payments to obtain 2% discounts on net 10 terms.
Audit invoices for accuracy and report findings to approving manager.
Reconcile and research invoices with bad accounting in multiple databases.
10%: Purchase Requisition Processing
Enter capital tool requests into the SAP database.
Assist with adjusting entries required under GAAP.
Consolidate and report operation financials.
Resolve internal and external customer issues.
