Job Description:
As an Associate Engineer on the Rail Water Resources team, you will provide various engineering duties related to hydrologic/hydraulic analysis for Class I Railroad projects. You will assist with developing the basic plan production, prepare technical reports, review CAD drawings, and obtain local, state, and federal permits for water resources related projects. This role contributes to generating ideas and creating designs that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 1 year water resource engineering experience
Must possess Engineer Intern certificate (EI)
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or other related hydrologic and hydraulic software is preferred
Solid interpersonal, problem-solving, communication (verbal and written) and decision-making skills
Has advanced mathematical and analytical abilities
Has a valid driver's license and a good driving history
