Description
- Provide legal counsel on energy-related transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements related to energy projects.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and environmental considerations in the energy sector.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support client objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Represent clients in negotiations and provide strategic guidance on energy-related disputes.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and trends in the energy and professional services industry.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Proven experience in energy-related legal matters, including transactions and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
