Associate Director of Nursing – Psychiatric / Behavioral Health
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per annum

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated nursing leader to oversee clinical operations within Psychiatric and Behavioral Health units. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership:

• Supervise nursing teams within behavioral health units
• Ensure adherence to psychiatric care standards and clinical protocols

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily staffing assignments and shift coordination
• Manage patient flow and address operational or clinical issues in real time

Staff Development & Mentorship:

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on complex behavioral health cases
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous professional development

Quality & Compliance:

• Monitor patient outcomes and nursing documentation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional standards

Requirements

Licensure:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

Education & Experience (one of the following):

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching role
  OR
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 6 years of nursing experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching role
