| Job Description: | JOB SUMMARY The University of Florida’s George A. Smathers Libraries seek an Associate Director of Human Resources to lead the Libraries Human Resources (LHR) unit. The Associate Director is entrusted with providing equitable support for all library employees, while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, University and Libraries’ policies. This includes interpreting HR policies, providing consultation and advice on HR issues and concerns, and developing and implementing HR strategies. The Associate Director oversees delivery of comprehensive HR services related to Faculty and Staff employee lifecycles. The Associate Director facilitates key processes including tenure and promotion, professional development leave, and employee evaluations. This position supervises 2.6 FTE, including two HR Generalists and Education and Training Specialist. RESPONSIBILITIES Human Resources Operations
