The Kind of Work Youll be Doing:

  • Enforce brand consistency by monitoring art direction and visual standards across all digital and physical brand expressions, ensuring that the organizational brand compliance is represented with clarity and integrity.
  • Lead the application of the Brand Identity Guidelines across platforms, media, and ministries by equipping teams, reviewing their work, and guiding execution to ensure a consistent and impactful brand expression.
  • Help safeguard Crus brand as a strategic asset by maintaining working knowledge of intellectual property considerations, advising teams and partners on proper usage, and escalating risks and complex matters to the director, legal counsel, or other relevant parties as needed.
  • Oversee the production of brand assets by coordinating work across internal creative teams and external vendors, ensuring that deliverables meet brand standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Manage day-to-day visual design operations for the Brand team by prioritizing work, implementing quality assurance practices, supporting staff productivity, and contributing to short-term and long-term design projects.
  • Measure and evaluate brand effectiveness by monitoring adherence to brand guidelines, contributing to brand equity metrics, and assessing the strength and impact of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner closely with the Communications team and U.S. Ministries to provide brand resources, guidance, and support that foster alignment, clarity, and unified visual storytelling across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative and ministry partners, including those in Audio, Photo, Video, and ministry leaders, to align overlapping efforts and develop shared ownership of brand outcomes.
  • Provide leadership to assigned employees on the Brand team. Coordinate the following leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Experience:

  • 4 year Bachelors degree in communications, digital media, organizational leadership, or a related field
  • At least 4+ years of progressive responsibilityin communications, brand, design, or a related field
  • 3 years of progressive experience leading mid-size teams
