  • Supervise, oversee, train, and evaluate subordinate clerical and professional staff within the General Services & Campus Warehouse Program.
  • Oversee and manage the overall institutional General Services & Campus Warehouse Program and Operations.
  • Manage, maintain, prepare, and submit for review by the Assistant Vice President of Facilities Maintenance & Operations the General Services & Campus Warehouse program budget.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with external and internal customers. Including students, faculty, staff, patients, and external visitors. Providing valuable input, guidance, and judgement in efforts affecting General Services & Campus Warehouse when working with but not limited to; Projects & Engineering, El Paso & TTU El Paso Police, Medical & Dental Schools, Institutional Advancement, Operations & Maintenance, Medical/Clinical Departments, etc.
  • Manage General Services website for accuracy and update as needed.
  • Oversee audits on SCLogics to ensure proper data entry and delivery is complete. Liaison with outside vendors regarding scheduling of shipments and deliveries and ordering supplies. Oversees the maintaining of the campus inventory, critical spare parts, and issued tools to the Facilities Department.
  • Coordinate efforts with Willed Body Program/Anatomy Lab Manager and mortuary service to assist in the removal of cadavers through the shipping dock area to be cremated.
  • Maintains records of expenditures for postage and mail room supplies. Responsible for accounts with the US Postal Services, UPS, Fed Ex transactions and freight shipper accounts are properly maintained.
  • Prepare and Manage the budget for the General Services & Campus Warehouse Program. Oversee the preparation of the Intra-Institutional Voucher (IV) for billing departments/clinics for FedEx, postage and copy service charges. Oversee the preparation Intra-institutional Voucher (IV) for warehouse service charges and billing to departments.
  • Responsible for managing and updating Institutional Operating Policies (OP''s) related to General Services, Campus Warehouse, and all others that may overlap with other Departments/Services.
  • Oversee the coordination and training of Warehouse and General Services staff. Oversee forklift certification for Facilities Maintenance & Operations. Responsible for training and certifying all TTEP Fork Lift Operators on campus.
  • Responsible for the campus'' lost and found program.
  • Coordinate efforts with the various clinics and UMC Hospital to assist with logistics of clinical equipment.
  • Remain current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliance and training requirements for this position.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
