- Assists in monitoring and ensuing compliance with LCME accreditation standars and requirements. Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation related to LCME accreditation.
- Oversees affiliation agreements related to student rotations, collaborating with key stakeholders, initiating, reviewing, and forwarding contracts for further revisions using internal ASC system.
- Disseminates pertinent updates and changes in LCME accreditation standards to the leadership advisory group.
- Fosters effective communication and collaboration among academic departments, faculty, and administrative teams to address accreditation related matters.
- Attends internal and external meetings related to program evaluation, information technology, student assessment, and medical education innovation that are pertinent to school.
- Develops and delivers training and stays current with developments in higher education, accreditation, and curriculum design through professional development activities.
- Assists in coordinating and preparing for site visits and inspections by the LCME.
- Supports the drafting of system, state, SACSCOC and LCME releated documents and reporting.
- Develops presentations, reports, and data visualizations to share findings and program outcomes .
- Prepare to take on the role of director in the event the current OME Director cannot fulfill his/her duties Supervise the OME Academic Administrative Coordinator.
- Manage CEPC meeting facilitation. Remain current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliance''s and trainings required of this position.
