BOOST LLC is a growing professional services firm providing comprehensive back-office solutions — including accounting and finance, contracts, procurement, pricing, HR, recruiting, cybersecurity compliance, and strategic advisory — to government contractors across the country. We’re in an exciting growth phase and looking for experienced leaders to join us as we scale.

Position Overview

This is a leadership role for an experienced GovCon contracts professional who is ready to operate at a strategic level while staying close to client delivery. This role reports to the Director, Contracts, Procurement, and Pricing services and will serve as a strategic force multiplier as the division scales. You’ll manage a team of contracts professionals, serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, and play a meaningful role in BOOST’s continued growth — all in a fully remote environment with occasional travel.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys mentoring others, and wants the autonomy and visibility that comes with working across multiple GovCon clients and environments.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services Delivery

  • Administer a variety of contract types cradle-to-grave — pre- and post-award — including OTAs, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, FPAF, T&M, LH, IDIQ, BPA, and BOA.
  • Provide expert guidance on competitive contracts, sole source awards, and directed prime and subcontract awards.
  • Lead negotiations for proposals, contract modifications, and agreements.
  • Prepare responses for proposals, bids, pricing estimates, and contract modifications in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Proactively identify and address potential non-compliance issues across client engagements.
  • Coordinate agreements and support documents with relevant client departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract information in client contracts databases.

Client Account & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a senior point of contact and escalation resource for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client companies.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of BOOST’s contracts services.
  • Lead new client kickoff calls in coordination with the Director to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Collaborate across BOOST service lines to address client needs holistically.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to review progress, surface risks, and identify opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop direct reports on the contracts team.
  • Build professional development plans tailored to each team member’s growth trajectory.
  • Design and implement training programs for junior hires and ongoing development mechanisms for the broader contracts team.
  • Conduct periodic and annual performance reviews in accordance with BOOST policies.
  • Support onboarding and ramp-up of new hires in coordination with the Director.

Business Unit Performance & Growth

  • Support management of the business unit’s budget and contribute to profitability goals.
  • Scope and structure client engagements to ensure project profitability, including estimating level of effort and setting appropriate resource allocation.
  • Lead prospective client scoping calls, in coordination with the Director.
  • Prepare proposals for assigned prospect engagements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and pursue opportunities to expand services within the current client base.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of full contract life cycle management experience working for a private-sector federal contractor.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance is not required.
  • Demonstrated cradle-to-grave prime contract administration experience is required; candidates with subcontracts-only backgrounds will not be considered.
  • Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, supplemental regulations, and DCMA requirements.
  • Prior experience leading a contracts team with direct reports.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in MS 365, particularly strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Preferred

  • CPCM certification or advanced degree.
  • GSA Schedule and GWAC submission, modification, and reporting experience.
  • Prior consulting or multi-client support experience.

Role Requirements

  • Financial awareness — you understand how to build client engagements to meet profitability goals, monitor budget performance at the business unit level, and proactively surface risks to profitability before they escalate.
  • Executive-level communication — you engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, actively listen, and translate complexity into clear guidance.
  • Strategic mindset — you see around corners, anticipate client needs, and bring solutions before problems escalate.
  • People leadership — you invest in your team’s growth and hold yourself and others accountable to quality outcomes.
  • Self-direction in a remote environment — you manage competing priorities independently and keep engagements moving forward without close oversight.
  • Client-first accountability — you own your client relationships and take pride in delivering work you’d put your name on.
  • Adherence to BOOST core values — detail-oriented, collaborative, flexible, and committed to excellence.
