About this Position
The Oklahoma State University (OSU), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is seeking to fill the position of Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs (ADASA).
The ADASA will provide administrative leadership, vision, and oversight of the college's veterinary medical education program. The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
The individual will supervise directors of the Offices of Student Academic Services, Curriculum and Educational Support, Clinical Services, Clinical Skills, and Wellness Programs.
Eligible applicants must hold a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree. Individuals with significant educational and academic leadership experience in a college or school of veterinary medicine are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional requirements for this position include a documented commitment to excellence in professional veterinary medical education, support of professional education, a clear understanding of issues related to student wellness, and a willingness to lead innovative educational programs. The ADASA is a member of the Veterinary Administrative Council and reports directly to the Dean of the CVM on all matters related to academic and student affairs.
Applicants should have sufficient experience and accomplishments for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in either a clinical or a tenure-track position.
