. What Youll be Doing Assist in maintaining or may maintain a clean safe and healthy environment in University facilities. Provide custodial services for university classrooms offices research labs and public spaces. In addition one or more of the following may be an essential function of this position:
• a drive a university owned vehicle during work shift • b work a non-traditional schedule see posted shift schedule • c learn and perform specialized cleaning procedures May provide building access by locking and unlocking areas as scheduled by the department. May develop relationships with building occupants and respond to requests.

Schedule Monday-Friday 7 am to 330 pm Hourly Pay 15.00 per hour

Education and Experience Qualified Candidates Will Need No formal education or experience required
Skills Needed Must complete onboarding training or be enrolled in program within 90 days of hire Must be able to read speak and understand English to effectively communicate and understand others Basic math skills and good work organization Ability to learn and use powered and non-powered floor care equipment Must be able to work well with others and work in a team environment Learn and follow safety procedures including wearing personal protective equipment as required Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 60 lbs. occasionally Work outdoors 10 of the time in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees
Whats Nice to Have One year of general work experience A valid US or Canadian Drivers License
