The attorneys at Salisian LLP are known for being responsive, reliable, and strategically-minded, committed to achieving client success.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Mid-Senior Level Associate Attorney role with Salisian LLP. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing litigation cases from initiation to completion in state and federal courts and arbitration, including preparation and drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings, arguing motions in court and making other court appearances, interfacing and building relationships with clients, taking and defending depositions, and preparation for and participation in trials. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office location in Los Angeles, CA.Qualifications3-8 years civil litigation experience required.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (Top 50 preferred).Admission to the California State Bar.ResponsibilitiesManage litigation cases from initiation to completion in state and federal courts and arbitration, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other filings.Argue motions in court and attend court appearances.Interface with clients and build relationships.Take and defend depositions; prepare for and participate in trials.BenefitsHealth, Dental, Life, and Vision insurance401(k) and 401(k) matchingPaid time off / Sick Leave (16 days total, plus 5 more PTO days each 5 years of service)Fully paid parking, or fully reimbursed monthly Metro passBillable hour credit for marketing/networking (100 hours/year)Billable hour credit for article writing (50 hours/year)Business casual attire in the office except Fridays.
