General Parts is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Associate Branch Manager.Position SummaryThe Associate Branch Manager provides support to the Branch Manager and assists in the direction and coordination of the activities of technicians and branch service support personnel.Essential FunctionsFulfills Branch Manager duties during absences.Assists Branch Manager on a daily basis by overseeing service support staff and technicians as assigned.Assists with branch related administrative functions.Oversees adherence to service delivery functions.Assists with inventory review and cycle counting.Assists with repair quotes, job bids, and maintenance agreements.Supports branch service staff during busy times or absences.Performs HR functions related to hiring, performance management, training, and development.Coordinates training of technicians and cross-training of service support staff.Participates in setting technician work schedules and on-call schedules.Fields complaints and questions regarding customer service issues.Resolves customer disputes with branch and corporate support personnel.Conducts service support staff, technician, and safety meetings.Adheres to Company credit and collection guidelines.Responsibilities of the PositionSupervisory position; makes decisions affecting people, finances, or organization image.Reports directly to the Branch Manager.Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree from a two-year college or technical school.3-5 years of technical or mechanical work experience.3-5 years of management experience or equivalent.Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.Valid driver's license and insurable by the company auto insurance.Highly safety conscious.Excellent organizational skills, self‑starter, able to follow through with minimal supervision.Physical DemandsNormal office environment.Occasional light lifting of office equipment, supplies, and boxes.Frequent sitting with occasional walking and standing.Dexterity required for computer use and other office equipment.Pay: $65,000–$70,000 per year based on experience.General Parts Group is an equal opportunity employer.
